There are multiple monetization tools for the creators on Facebook such as paid event, brand deals, and the one took the longest time to unlock is in-stream ads, you get revenue from the midroll or ads below your video just like YouTube.
My Facebook Page has unlocked the in-stream ads feature after 5 years of uploading contents, and got my revenue paid for few months after that.
But then something happened when I move to other country for 2 months. My in-stream ads featured got revoked with the reason "ineligible country". What I guess was because of the country I stayed in that moment was Mongolia, which is not in their eligible country and I did login from Mongolia, so maybe they detected my location was an ineligible country for in-stream ads, so they disable this feature on my page.
Why I say "guess" is because there is no official statement for me. I went to the so-called ineligible country was just temporary, and I still get my in-stream ads removed? Somemore Facebook had all my info like address, bank account, etc but still screwed it out?
I try to reach out to their support to explain all my original info are still remain unchanged indicates that I'm just temporary there, but their support always outage. I try to post on their Facebook Gaming and Meta for Creator, and even Mark Zuckerberg page, of cause never got any response.
Eventually, I got my in-stream ads feature back after 2 months of keep on trying to reapply for this in-stream ads feature and it's only after I leave Mongolia. What a mess!
Facebook/Meta, your AI has robbed my 2 month revenue! Go enhance your AI before heavily rely on them!
Note: this is based on my experience until 2022, hopefully all these errors will be solved in the future.
