Five Nights at Freddy's News Round Up July 5, 2025

Cleithrophobia

The developer, Diamond Rider announced that the spinoff prequel game Cleithrophobia: Fallfest has been cancelled due to scheduling error with other people who collab with this project. But there's a good news, Cleithrophobia is still in active development with a redesigned map in the works.
In the past month, the developer also published a lot of screenshot behind the scenes like WIP Fredbear, animation, revealing scrapped Springbonnie and Fredbear models, and some testing samples.

"Cleithrophobia is a puzzle style FNaF fan game where you are trapped inside of a five night long game with a mysterious observer pulling every string."

Five Nights at Frickbear's 3


There are multiple animatronic "spotlight" have been revealed, and the most recent one highlights was for Lolbit and the strategic gameplay, resource management update when dealing with her.

The developer also shares a behind the scenes look at the game's evolution, especially while they’re currently focused on ArtFight this month. As the developer transitioned from Scratch to GameMaker, they started by remaking Frickbear's 1 and 2, which gradually morphed into what became Frickbear's 3. The early animatronic designs originally close to the OG, then later the art eventually shifted to something more stylized.

They also shared some scrapped contents like the old idea, sprites, and etc.

The Diner: Reopened

After successfully remake an OG FNAF fangame - Abandoned Fazbear's Diner Remake, Wierdoss7 has completed another remake, and this round is The Diner, which released in 2016 - titled The Diner: Reopened! The remake was released on June 28, followed by a patch that fixed some bugs and it received a lot of positive feedback once again!

The Diner: Reopened is now featuring one normal night and one difficult night, after beating both night you'll get the Extra contents mode unlocked.

Five Nights at Friedrich's

Another highly anticipated game has been released! Five Nights at Friedrich's featuring 6x main nights, 3x secret minigames, a few extra hard challenges that come with secret endings, and a bunch of trophies/achievements boosting up replay value.

All the small details like the character movements on the cameras and short reaction animations when they're stopped at the door or vent truly make this game stand out. There are also some twists in the later gameplay that will likely surprise players, rather than just 6x identical nights with increasing difficulty.

The Joy of Creation

A new animation for the Bedroom has been revealed. It's a short clip believed to be the beginning of the Bedroom level.
In early of June (2025), Nikson also shared a short gameplay of Living Room level.
The game does not have a release date yet. Keep an eye on their Steam page for the updates.

SHOWMAN'S: The Awakening release was ahead of schedule

One of the best Five Nights at Freddy's fangames, especially in term of scariness, this is one of my top 3 of all time! SHOWMAN'S: The Awakening is developed by Iz with Blender, a remastered version of Phobia: The Awakening (2021), originally expected to be released in June 2025 , it ended up launching at the end of May. The version features overhauled models and introduces new characters to replace those originally based on The Wiggles . This not only gave the developer more creative freedom but also helped avoid potential legal issues tied to using copyrighted characters.
