As mentioned in the latest update (April 2022),
"There’s no specific performance threshold to qualify for a bonus". I'm trying to share my little information of my recent performance that got me the YouTube Shorts Fund, hopefully it gets us a little clue of the minimum requirements.I got my YouTube Shorts fund for the first time in July 2022 with the $100 bonus (for the performance in June 2022), and then didn't quality in August 2022. Below is my view count of Shorts video in June and July.
In June I got 2.6 mil which got me thr $100 Shorts Fund bonus and July I got 1.4 mil views which got me nothing. So as result, I guess probably we need at least 2 mil shorts views in order to compete for the YouTube Shorts Fund.
Or it could be depending on the overall shorts performance in the entire platform? For example, your shorts video perform better than certain percentage of other creators will be qualified, if other creators' Shorts video done much better than last month, your requirements would be higher. That's why they said "There’s no specific performance threshold to qualify for a bonus".
- End of my theory.
