How to check which game will work on Steam Deck?

Steam has released a list of verified games for the Deck here. There separated into 4 categories so far:

Deck Verified Games

Fully functional on Steam Deck, and work great with the built-in controls and display.

Deck Playable Games

Functional on Steam Deck, but might require extra effort to interact with or configure.

Unsupported Games

Untested Games

To search directly, go to Great on Deck and type the game name in the NEW AND TRENDING column (picture below, not the search bar on the top). Or just login your Steam via the Steam Deck page and you'll see the compatibility rating of each game, indicating the kind of experience you can expect when playing.

Sometimes, due to computer repairs, hardware changes, or file corruption, I end up losing save files that I spent a lot of time playing. Five New-Fangled Nights The developer, Caleb Hill, has announced that the game is completed and has entered beta testing. The feedback phase is about to begin, and the estimated release will be around mid-October 2025, or possibly a little earlier. Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Full HD mod and Extra unlockable contents

Five Nights at Freddy's 1 fanmade mod is now includes new Extra mode that showcases all animatronic models, jumpscares, and new survival mode after beating the game. It's running at 1080p full HD thanks to the modded version by Fryisen , who also modding FNAF 2, 3, 4 into full HD. If you want to try this FNAF mod out, it's on Gamejolt here .
